Assurance of salvation can be very easy in that, it is a free gift.  The requirement is that you turn your life over to Christ.  There are those who say “they must clean up their lives before Jesus will take me”.  This could not be further from the truth. No matter how clean you make yourself, no matter how many habits you quit, you will not be as clean as when Jesus cleanses you from “ALL” of your sin.

John 3:15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

The following is called Romans road to Salvation.  Please follow this road to the end.  You are not walking it alone.  Assurance of Salvation can be found in the words above and below.

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 5:1  ¬∂Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The sinners prayer:

Gracious and Heavenly Father, I acknowledge and accept I am a sinner not worthy of your grace and ask you to forgive my sin’s. I know your son is the truth the light and the way, I give myself freely to his control and welcome him into my heart. I ask you to walk with me and guide me, teach me your way and your truth. Thank you for the gift of your Son’s sacrifice on the cross that I may live. Thank you for your forgiveness and accepting me as your child. Amen.
